Biomaster treated products have been tested for antibacterial efficacy to the latest ISO standards.
Tests were carried out and validated using the ISO 22196:2007 testing method in an independent, internationally recognised laboratory.
The ISO antibacterial testing method for measuring the efficacy of Biomaster Clean PullCord briefly comprises of:
1. Inoculating the test sample with a nutrient mix containing a known amount of bacteria.
2. Samples are kept in optimal conditions for bacterial growth (37ºC) for 24hrs.
3. The amount of remaining viable bacteria colonies are measured 24hrs after inoculation.
The laboratory used by Biomaster is the only lab outside Japen to have SIAA (Society of Industrial technology for Antimicrobial Articles. The SIAA is cross-industry/academic group for supervising antimicrobial technology.
Biomaster has been successfully tested against over 50 common organisms such as MRSA, E.coli, Salmonella, Listeria, Pseudomonas, and Aspergillus Niger.
